Frequently Asked Questions

Response for Question: Will RotatoReliever help with pain in the bursa area?
Our product is designed primarily to help the bursa area. Both our
nighttime device which offloads the bursa and the daytime exercises, which
strengthen the muscles around the bursa, will help your symptoms.

Response for Question : Will RotatoReliever help with pain from wheelchair use?
Yes, I think our product will help. Often wheelchair use causes impinging
upon the uppermost aspect of the rotator cuff when people boost themselves.
This is a common complaint for those restricted to wheelchairs or other
conditions that require a lot of arm use for body support.

The exercise component will strengthen all aspects of the rotator cuff.
Most importantly, the lower muscles will strengthen with our
exercise. This will take the load off the upper aspect of the rotator cuff
when you boost.

Response for Question re: Have I Had Shoulder Pain too Long for RR to help me?

You are not too late. In our published research patients had shoulder pain for an average of 6 months and some as long as 2 years.

Response for TRACTION question for RR
I recommend just keeping the nighttime brace on loosely. The magic is not

in the traction in as much as wearing it loosely and keeping it on as long
as possible at night. The main benefit is keeping you from sleeping on the
affected shoulder and keeping the arm from going above your head.

Response to question about STEROID INJECTIONS
Steroid injections are a good bandaid. Unfortunately I do not think there
will be any muscle strengthening under the influence of the steroid (the
steroids used are catabolic not anabolic). I would strongly encourage you
to look at our product. We think it affords the best and most efficient way to keep the shoulder strong, functional and pain free.

How tight should I keep the traction on the RotatoReliever’s nighttime brace?
I recommend just keeping the nighttime brace on loosely. The magic is not
in the traction in as much as wearing it loosely and keeping it on as long
as possible at night. The main benefit is keeping you from sleeping on the
affected shoulder and keeping the arm from going above your head.

Can I sleep in any position while wearing the nighttime brace?
Yes, you can sleep in any comfortable position while wearing the RotatoReliever.

Can I continue to wear the nighttime brace after the 40 days are completed?
No, we do not recommend that you continue wearing the brace after completing the 40 day system. If, as time goes on, you start experiencing shoulder discomfort again, take your RotatoReliever out and start again.

Can I skip from ball #1 to ball #3?

No, we do highly recommend that you use ball #1 for 10 days, then switch to ball #2 for 10 days, then ball #3, etc. There is a very systematic method to the weights of these balls.
